2. "(61:3) Du bout de la terre je crie à toi, le coeur abattu; Conduis-moi sur le rocher que je ne puis atteindre!"

3. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
3. (61:4) Car tu es pour moi un refuge, Une tour forte, en face de l`ennemi.
3. Fa aroko Ianao sy tilikambo mafy handosirako ny fahavalo.
4. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
4. (61:5) Je voudrais séjourner éternellement dans ta tente, Me réfugier à l`abri de tes ailes. -Pause.
4. Hitoetra ao amin' ny tabernakelinao mandrakizay aho. Hialoka ao ambanin' ny fanomban' ny elatrao aho.[Sela.]
5. For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
5. (61:6) Car toi, ô Dieu! tu exauces mes voeux, Tu me donnes l`héritage de ceux qui craignent ton nom.
5. "Fa Ianao efa nandre ny voadiko, Andriamanitra ô; efa nomenao ahy ny lovan' izay matahotra ny anaranao."
6. Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.
6. "(61:7) Ajoute des jours aux jours du roi; Que ses années se prolongent à jamais!"
6. "Halavao ny andron' ny mpanjaka; Aoka ny taonany hahatratra ny taranaka maro."
7. He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
7. (61:8) Qu`il reste sur le trône éternellement devant Dieu! Fais que ta bonté et ta fidélité veillent sur lui!
7. Hitoetra eo anatrehan' Andriamanitra mandrakizay izy: omany e! ny famindramponao sy ny fahamarinanao izay afaka hitahiry azy.
8. So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
8. (61:9) Alors je chanterai sans cesse ton nom, En accomplissant chaque jour mes voeux.
8. Ka dia izany no hankalazako ny anaranao mandrakizay, mba hanefako isan' andro ny voadiko.
