Chapter 52
1. Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.

2. Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

3. Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
3. (52:5) Tu aimes le mal plutôt que le bien, Le mensonge plutôt que la droiture. -Pause.

4. Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
4. (52:6) Tu aimes toutes les paroles de destruction, Langue trompeuse!

5. God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
5. "(52:7) Aussi Dieu t`abattra pour toujours, Il te saisira et t`enlèvera de ta tente; Il te déracinera de la terre des vivants. -Pause."

6. The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
6. (52:8) Les justes le verront, et auront de la crainte, Et ils feront de lui le sujet de leurs moqueries:

7. Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
7. (52:9) Voilà l`homme qui ne prenait point Dieu pour protecteur, Mais qui se confiait en ses grandes richesses, Et qui triomphait dans sa malice!
7. "Indro, ny lehilahy izay tsy nanao an' Andriamanitra ho heriny ; fa natoky ny haben' ny hareny ka nampahery ny tenany tamin' ny faharatsiany."
8. But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
8. (52:10) Et moi, je suis dans la maison de Dieu comme un olivier verdoyant, Je me confie dans la bonté de Dieu, éternellement et à jamais.

9. I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

Chapter 53
1. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

3. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3. "(53:4) Tous sont égarés, tous sont pervertis; Il n`en est aucun qui fasse le bien, Pas même un seul."

4. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
4. "(53:5) Ceux qui commettent l`iniquité ont-ils perdu le sens? Ils dévorent mon peuple, ils le prennent pour nourriture; Ils n`invoquent point Dieu."
4. Tsy manam-pahalalana va ny mpanao ratsy? izay mihinana ny oloko toy ny fihinan-kanina, ary Andriamanitra tsy antsoiny.
5. There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
5. "(53:6) Alors ils trembleront d`épouvante, Sans qu`il y ait sujet d`épouvante; Dieu dispersera les os de ceux qui campent contre toi; Tu les confondras, car Dieu les a rejetés."
5. "Indreo, matahotra dia matahotra ireo, nefa tsy misy tokony hatahorany; fa Andriamanitra efa nanely ny taolan' izay nitoby hamely anao; nampahamenatra azy ianao, satria efa nanamavo azy Andriamanitra."
6. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
6. (53:7) Oh! qui fera partir de Sion la délivrance d`Israël? Quand Dieu ramènera les captifs de son peuple, Jacob sera dans l`allégresse, Israël se réjouira.

Chapter 54
1. Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

2. (54:4) O Dieu! écoute ma prière, Prête l`oreille aux paroles de ma bouche!
2. "Andriamanitra ô, henoy ny fivavako; mihainoa ny tenin' ny vavako."
3. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
3. "(54:5) Car des étrangers se sont levés contre moi, Des hommes violents en veulent à ma vie; Ils ne portent pas leurs pensées sur Dieu. -Pause."
3. "Fa olona hafa firenena no mitsangana hamely ahy, ary olon-dozabe no mitady ny aiko; tsy mihevitra an' Andriamanitra ho eo anatrehany izy. [Sela.]"
4. Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
4. (54:6) Voici, Dieu est mon secours, Le Seigneur est le soutien de mon âme.
4. "Indro, Andriamanitra no Mpamonjy ahy; ny Tompo no mpanohana ny fanahiko."
5. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
5. "(54:7) Le mal retombera sur mes adversaires; Anéantis-les, dans ta fidélité!"
5. "Hamaly ny ratsy ataon' ny fahavaloko ahy Izy; aoka ny fahamarinanao no handringananao azy."
6. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
6. "(54:8) Je t`offrirai de bon coeur des sacrifices; Je louerai ton nom, ô Éternel! car il est favorable,"
6. "Sitrapoko ihany no anaterako fanatitra ho Anao; hidera ny anaranao aho, Jehovah ô, fa tsara izany."
7. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
7. (54:9) Car il me délivre de toute détresse, Et mes yeux se réjouissent à la vue de mes ennemis.
7. "Fa efa namonjy ahy ho afaka amin' ny fahoriako rehetra Izy; ary ny masoko dia faly mijery ny amin' ny fahavaloko."
