The Nazirite
1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
2. Parle aux enfants d`Israël, et tu leur diras: Lorsqu`un homme ou une femme se séparera des autres en faisant voeu de naziréat, pour se consacrer à l`Éternel,
2. Mitenena amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely, ka lazao hoe: Raha misy lehilahy, na vehivavy mivoady hitokana ho Nazirita mba hitokana ho an' i Jehovah,
3. He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
3. "il s`abstiendra de vin et de boisson enivrante; il ne boira ni vinaigre fait avec du vin, ni vinaigre fait avec une boisson enivrante; il ne boira d`aucune liqueur tirée des raisins, et il ne mangera point de raisins frais ni de raisins secs."
3. Dia hifady divay sy toaka izy, tsy hisotro vinaingitra avy amin' ny divay, na vinaingitra avy amin' ny toaka izy, ary tsy hisotro ranom-boaloboka izy, na hihinana voaloboka lena, na maina.
4. All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
4. Pendant tout le temps de son naziréat, il ne mangera rien de ce qui provient de la vigne, depuis les pépins jusqu`à la peau du raisin.
4. Amin' ny andro fitokanany rehetra dia tsy hihinana izay atao amin' ny voaloboka hatramin' ny voany ka hatramin' ny hodiny izy.
5. All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
5. "Pendant tout le temps de son naziréat, le rasoir ne passera point sur sa tête; jusqu`à l`accomplissement des jours pour lesquels il s`est consacré à l`Éternel, il sera saint, il laissera croître librement ses cheveux."
5. "Amin' ny andro rehetra izay nivoadiany hitokana dia tsy hokasihin-kareza ny lohany; mandra-pahatapitry ny andro izay nitokanany ho an' i Jehovah dia ho masina izy, ka havelany haniry ny volon-dohany,"
6. All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
6. "Pendant tout le temps qu`il a voué à l`Éternel, il ne s`approchera point d`une personne morte;"
6. "Amin' ny andro rehetra izay itokanany ho an' i Jehovah dia tsy hiditra am-paty izy;"
7. He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.
7. il ne se souillera point à la mort de son père, de sa mère, de son frère ou de sa soeur, car il porte sur sa tête la consécration de son Dieu.
7. Tsy handoto ny tenany izy na amin' ny rainy, na ny reniny, na ny rahalahiny, na ny anabaviny, raha maty ireo, satria eo amin' ny lohany ny fitokanana ho an' Andriamaniny.
8. All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.
8. Pendant tout le temps de son naziréat, il sera consacré à l`Éternel.
8. Amin' ny andro fitokanany rehetra dia masina ho an' i Jehovah izy.
9. And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
9. Si quelqu`un meurt subitement près de lui, et que sa tête consacrée devienne ainsi souillée, il se rasera la tête le jour de sa purification, il se la rasera le septième jour.
9. "Ary raha misy olona maty tampoka eo anilany ka nandoto ny lohany izay fitokanany dia hanaratra ny lohany amin' ny andro fanadiovana azy izy, dia amin' ny andro fahafito no hanaratany azy;"
10. And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
10. Le huitième jour, il apportera au sacrificateur deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation.
10. Ary amin' ny andro fahavalo dia hitondra domohina roa, na zana-boromailala roa ho eo amin' ny mpisorona, eo anoloan' ny varavaran' ny tranolay fihaonana izy.
11. And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
11. Le sacrificateur sacrifiera l`un comme victime expiatoire, et l`autre comme holocauste, et il fera pour lui l`expiation de son péché à l`occasion du mort. Le naziréen sanctifiera ainsi sa tête ce jour-là
11. Ary ny mpisorona dia hanolotra ny anankiray ho fanatitra noho ny ota, ary ny anankiray kosa ho fanatitra dorana, dia hanao fanavotana ho azy, satria nanota ny amin' ny faty izy, ary hanamasina ny lohany amin' izany andro izany.
12. And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.
12. "Il consacrera de nouveau à l`Éternel les jours de son naziréat, et il offrira un agneau d`un an en sacrifice de culpabilité; les jours précédents ne seront point comptés, parce que son naziréat a été souillé."
12. Dia hanokana ho an' i Jehovah ny androny fitokanany izy ka hitondra ondrilahy iray izay herintaona ho fanatitra noho ny fahadisoana, fa ho very ny andro teo aloha, satria voaloto ny fitokanany.
13. And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
13. Voici la loi du naziréen. Le jour où il aura accompli le temps de son naziréat, on le fera venir à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation.
13. "Ary izao no lalàna ny amin' ny Nazirita: Rehefa tapitra ny andro fitokanany, dia hoentina eo anoloan' ny varavaran' ny tranolay fihaonana izy;"
14. And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,
14. "Il présentera son offrande à l`Éternel: un agneau d`un an et sans défaut pour l`holocauste, une brebis d`un an et sans défaut pour le sacrifice d`expiation, et un bélier sans défaut pour le sacrifice d`actions de grâces;"
14. Ary hanolotra ny fanatiny ho an' i Jehovah izy, dia zanak' ondrilahy iray, izay iray taona, tsy misy kilema ho fanatitra dorana, ary ondrivavy iray, izay iray taona, tsy misy kilema ho fanatitra noho ny ota, ary ondrilahy iray, tsy misy kilema ho fanati-pihavanana,
15. And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.
15. une corbeille de pains sans levain, de gâteaux de fleur de farine pétris à l`huile, et de galettes sans levain arrosées d`huile, avec l`offrande et la libation ordinaires.
15. Ary mofo tsy misy lalivay iray harona, dia mofo atao amin' ny koba tsara toto voaharo diloilo sy mofo manify tsy misy lalivay sady voahoso-diloilo, mbamin' ny fanatitra hohanina sy ny fanatitra aidina.
16. And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:
16. "Le sacrificateur présentera ces choses devant l`Éternel, et il offrira sa victime expiatoire et son holocauste;"
16. "Dia haterin' ny mpisorona eo anatrehan' i Jehovah ireo; ary hatolony ny fanatiny noho ny ota sy ny fanatiny dorana."
17. And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.
17. il offrira le bélier en sacrifice d`actions de grâces à l`Éternel, outre la corbeille de pains sans levain, avec l`offrande et la libation.
17. "Dia hateriny ny ondrilahy ho fanati-pihavanana ho an' i Jehovah mbamin' ny mofo tsy misy lalivay iray harona; hatolotry ny mpisorona koa ny fanatiny noho ny ota sy ny fanatiny aidina."
18. And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
18. "Le naziréen rasera, à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation, sa tête consacrée; il prendra les cheveux de sa tête consacrée, et il les mettra sur le feu qui est sous le sacrifice d`actions de grâces."
18. Ary ny Nazirita hanaratra ny lohany izay fitokanany eo anoloan' ny varavaran' ny tranolay fihaonana, ary horaisiny ny volon-dohany fitokanany ka hataony eo amin' ny afo izay eo ambanin' ny fanati-pihavanana.
19. And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:
19. "Le sacrificateur prendra l`épaule cuite du bélier, un gâteau sans levain de la corbeille, et une galette sans levain; et il les posera sur les mains du naziréen, après qu`il aura rasé sa tête consacrée."
19. Dia halain' ny mpisorona ny sorok' ondrilahy efa nampangotrahina sy mofo iray tsy misy lalivay avy amin' ny harona ary mofo manify iray tsy misy lalivay ka hataony eo amin' ny tanan' ny Nazirita, rehefa voaharatra ny lohany izay fitokanany:
20. And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.
20. Le sacrificateur les agitera de côté et d`autre devant l`Éternel: c`est une chose sainte, qui appartient au sacrificateur, avec la poitrine agitée et l`épaule offerte par élévation. Ensuite, le naziréen pourra boire du vin.
20. "Dia hahevahevan' ny mpisorona ireo ho fanatitra ahevaheva eo anatrehan' i Jehovah; ho masina izany ho an' ny mpisorona ho fanampin' ny tratra ahevaheva sy ny soroka asandratra; ary aorian' izany vao mahazo misotro divay ny Nazirita."
21. This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
21. "Telle est la loi pour celui qui fait voeu de naziréat; telle est son offrande à l`Éternel pour son naziréat, outre ce que lui permettront ses ressources. Il accomplira ce qui est ordonné pour le voeu qu`il a fait, selon la loi de son naziréat."
21. "Izany no lalàna ny amin' ny Nazirita, izay mivoady hitondra fanatitra ho an' i Jehovah noho ny fitokanany, afa-tsy izay zavatra hafa tratry ny ananany; araka ny voady izay nivoadiany no hataony, araka ny lalàna ny amin' ny fitokanany."
The Priestly Blessing
22. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
22. L`Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
22. Ary Jehovah niteny tamin' i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
23. Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
23. Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et dis: Vous bénirez ainsi les enfants d`Israël, vous leur direz:
23. Mitenena amin' i Arona sy ny zanany lahy hoe: Izao no fomba hitsofanareo rano ny Zanak' Isiraely, manao hoe:
24. The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
24. Que l`Éternel te bénisse, et qu`il te garde!
24. "Hitahy anao anie Jehovah ka hiaro anao;"
25. The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
25. Que l`Éternel fasse luire sa face sur toi, et qu`il t`accorde sa grâce!
25. "Hampamirapiratra ny tavany aminao anie Jehovah ka hamindra fo aminao;"
26. The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
26. Que l`Éternel tourne sa face vers toi, et qu`il te donne la paix!
26. Hanandratra ny tavany aminao anie Jehovah ka hanome anao fiadanana.
27. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
27. C`est ainsi qu`ils mettront mon nom sur les enfants d`Israël, et je les bénirai.
27. "Dia hametraka ny anarako amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely izy; ary Izaho hitahy azy."
