Stages in Israel's Journey
1. These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
1. Voici les stations des enfants d`Israël qui sortirent du pays d`Égypte, selon leurs corps d`armée, sous la conduite de Moïse et d`Aaron.
1. Ary izao no nandehanan' ny Zanak' Isiraely, izay nentin' i Mosesy sy Arona nivoaka avy tany amin' ny tany Egypta araka ny antokony.
2. And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
2. Moïse écrivit leurs marches de station en station, d`après l`ordre de l`Éternel. Et voici leurs stations, selon leurs marches.
2. "Dia nosoratan' i Mosesy ny nialany araka ny nandehanany, araka ny didin' i Jehovah; ary izao no nandehanany araka ny nialany:"
3. And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
3. Ils partirent de Ramsès le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois. Le lendemain de la Pâque, les enfants d`Israël sortirent la main levée, à la vue de tous les Égyptiens.
3. "Ary niala tao Ramesesa izy tamin' ny volana voalohany, dia tamin' ny andro fahadimy ambin' ny folo tamin' ny volana voalohany; nony ampitson' ny Paska no nivoahan' ny Zanak' Isiraely tamin' ny tanàna avo teo imason' ny Egytiana rehetra."
4. For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
4. "Et les Égyptiens enterraient ceux que l`Éternel avait frappés parmi eux, tous les premiers-nés; l`Éternel exerçait aussi des jugements contre leurs dieux."
4. "Fa ny Egyptiana mbola nandevina ny matoa rehetra izay efa novonoin' i Jehovah teo aminy; ary ny andriamaniny koa dia notsarain' i Jehovah."
5. And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
5. Les enfants d`Israël partirent de Ramsès, et campèrent à Succoth.
5. Ary nony niala tao Ramesesa ny Zanak' Isiraely dia nitoby tao Sokota.
6. And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
6. Ils partirent de Succoth, et campèrent à Étham, qui est à l`extrémité du désert.
6. Ary nony niala tao Sokota izy, dia nitoby tao Etama, izay teo an-tsisin' ny efitra.
7. And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
7. Ils partirent d`Étham, se détournèrent vers Pi Hahiroth, vis-à-vis de Baal Tsephon, et campèrent devant Migdol.
7. Ary nony niala tao Etama izy, dia nivily nankao Pi-hahirota, izay tandrifin' i Bala-zefona, ka nitoby tandrifin' i Migdola.
8. And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
8. "Ils partirent de devant Pi Hahiroth, et passèrent au milieu de la mer dans la direction du désert; ils firent trois journées de marche dans le désert d`Étham, et campèrent à Mara."
8. Ary nony niala tandrifin' i Pi-hahirota izy, dia nandeha nita teo afovoan' ny ranomasina mena ho any an' efitra, dia nandeha lalan-kateloana tany an' efitra Etama izy ka nitoby tao Mara.
9. And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
9. "Ils partirent de Mara, et arrivèrent à Élim; il y avait à Élim douze sources d`eau et soixante-dix palmiers: ce fut là qu`ils campèrent."
9. "Ary nony niala tao Mara izy, dia nankany Elima; ary tao Elima dia nisy loharano roa ambin' ny folo sy hazo palma fitopolo, dia nitoby teo izy."
10. And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
10. Ils partirent d`Élim, et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
10. Ary nony niala tao Elima izy, dia nitoby tao amoron' ny Ranomasina Mena.
11. And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
11. Ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
11. Ary nony niala tao amoron' ny Ranomasina Mena izy dia nitoby tao an' efitra Sina.
12. And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
12. Ils partirent du désert de Sin, et campèrent à Dophka.

13. And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
13. Ils partirent de Dophka, et campèrent à Alusch.

14. And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
14. Ils partirent d`Alusch, et campèrent à Rephidim, où le peuple ne trouva point d`eau à boire.

15. And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
15. Ils partirent de Rephidim, et campèrent dans le désert de Sinaï.

16. And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
16. Ils partirent de désert du Sinaï, et campèrent à Kibroth Hattaava.

17. And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.

18. And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

19. And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.

23. And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

24. And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.

25. And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.

26. And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.

27. And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.

28. And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.

29. And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.

30. And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.

31. And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.
31. Ils partirent de Moséroth, et campèrent à Bené Jaakan.

32. And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.
32. Ils partirent de Bené Jaakan, et campèrent à Hor Guidgad.

33. And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
33. Ils partirent de Hor Guidgad, et campèrent à Jothbatha.

34. And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
34. Ils partirent de Jothbatha, et campèrent à Abrona.
34. Ary nony niala tao Jotbata izy, dia nitoby tao Abrona.
35. And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.
35. Ils partirent d`Abrona, et campèrent à Etsjon Guéber.
35. Ary nony niala tao Abrona izy, dia nitoby tao Ezion-gebera.
36. And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
36. Ils partirent d`Etsjon Guéber, et campèrent dans le désert de Tsin: c`est Kadès.
36. "Ary nony niala tao Ezion-gebera izy, dia nitoby tao an' efitra Zina; Kadesy izany."
37. And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
37. Ils partirent de Kadès, et campèrent à la montagne de Hor, à l`extrémité du pays d`Édom.
37. Ary nony niala tao Kadesy izy, dia nitoby tao an-tendrombohitra Hora, tao an-tsisin' ny tany Edoma.
38. And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
38. "Le sacrificateur Aaron monta sur la montagne de Hor, suivant l`ordre de l`Éternel; et il y mourut, la quarantième année après la sortie des enfants d`Israël du pays d`Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier jour du mois."

39. And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
39. Aaron était âgé de cent vingt-trois ans lorsqu`il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.

40. And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
40. Le roi d`Arad, Cananéen, qui habitait le midi du pays de Canaan, apprit l`arrivée des enfants d`Israël.
40. Ary ren' i Arada mpanjaka, ilay Kananita izay nonina teo amin' ny tany atsimo amin' ny tany Kanana, ny fahatongavan' ny Zanak' Isiraely.
41. And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
41. Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor, et campèrent à Tsalmona.
41. Ary nony niala tao an-tendrombohitra Hora izy, dia nitoby tao Zalmona.
42. And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
42. Ils partirent de Tsalmona, et campèrent à Punon.
42. Ary nony niala tao Zalmona izy, dia nitoby tao Ponona.
43. And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
43. Ils partirent de Punon, et campèrent à Oboth.
43. Ary nony niala tao Ponona izy, dia nitoby tao Obota.
44. And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.
44. Ils partirent d`Oboth, et campèrent à Ijjé Abarim, sur la frontière de Moab.
44. Ary nony niala tao Obota izy, dia nitoby tao Ie-abarima tao amin' ny faritanin' i Moaba.
45. And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.
45. Ils partirent d`Ijjé Abarim, et campèrent à Dibon Gad.

46. And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.
46. Ils partirent de Dibon Gad, et campèrent à Almon Diblathaïm.

47. And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
47. Ils partirent d`Almon Diblathaïm, et campèrent aux montagnes d`Abarim, devant Nebo.

48. And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
48. Ils partirent des montagnes d`Abarim, et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.
48. Ary nony niala tamin' ny tendrombohitra Abarima izy, dia nitoby tao amin' ny lemak' i Moaba, teo amoron' i Jordana tandrifin' i Jeriko.
49. And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.
49. Ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Beth Jeschimoth jusqu`à Abel Sittim, dans les plaines de Moab.
49. Ary nitoby teo amoron' i Jordana izy hatrany Beti-jesimota ka hatrany Abela-Sitima tao amin' ny lemak' i Moaba.
50. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
50. L`Éternel parla à Moïse dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho. Il dit:
50. Ary Jehovah niteny tamin' i Mosesy teo amin' ny lemak' i Moaba, teo amoron' i Jordana tandrifin' i Jeriko, ka nanao hoe:
51. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
51. Parle aux enfants d`Israël, et dis-leur: Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain et que vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan,
51. Mitenena amin' ny zanak' Isiraely ka lazao aminy hoe: Rehefa tafita an' i Jordana ka tonga any amin' ny tany Kanana ianareo,
52. Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
52. vous chasserez devant vous tous les habitants du pays, vous détruirez toutes leurs idoles de pierre, vous détruirez toutes leurs images de fonte, et vous détruirez tous leurs hauts lieux.
52. "Dia horoahinareo eo anoloanareo ny mponina rehetra amin' ny tany, ary horavanareo ny sariny rehetra, ary horavanareo ny sarin-javany an' idina rehetra, ary hosimbanareo ny fitoerana avony rehetra;"
53. And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
53. "Vous prendrez possession du pays, et vous vous y établirez; car je vous ai donné le pays, pour qu`il soit votre propriété."
53. Dia halainareo amin' ny mponina ny tany, ka hitoetra eo ianareo, fa ianareo no nomeko ny tany ho fanananareo.
54. And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
54. Vous partagerez le pays par le sort, selon vos familles. A ceux qui sont en plus grand nombre vous donnerez une portion plus grande, et à ceux qui sont en plus petit nombre vous donnerez une portion plus petite. Chacun possédera ce qui lui sera échu par le sort: vous le recevrez en propriété, selon les tribus de vos pères.
54. "Ary antsapaka no hizaranareo ny tany araka ny fianakavianareo; ary ny maro isa homenareo lova bebe kokoa, ary ny vitsy isa homenareo lova kelikely kokoa; samy eo amin' ny toerana ivoahan' ny antsapaka ho azy no ho lovany; araka ny fokon' ny razanareo no handovanareo."
55. But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
55. Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d`entre eux que vous laisserez seront comme des épines dans vos yeux et des aiguillons dans vos côtés, ils seront vos ennemis dans le pays où vous allez vous établir.
55. Fa raha tsy horoahinareo eo alohanareo ny mponina amin' ny tany, dia izao no hiseho, izay havelanareo eo aminy dia ho lay amin' ny masonareo sy ho tsilo amin' ny tehezanareo, ka hanelingelina anareo amin' ny tany izay honenanareo.
56. Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
56. Et il arrivera que je vous traiterai comme j`avais résolu de les traiter.
56. Ary koa, izao no hiseho, hataoko aminareo izay nokasaiko hatao aminy.
