Vows
1. And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
1. (30:2) Moïse parla aux chefs des tribus des enfants d`Israël, et dit: Voici ce que l`Éternel ordonne.
1. Ary Mosesy niteny tamin' ny lohan'ny foko momba ny zanak' Isiraely ka nanao hoe: Izao no zavatra izay nandidian' i Jehovah:
2. If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
2. (30:3) Lorsqu`un homme fera un voeu à l`Éternel, ou un serment pour se lier par un engagement, il ne violera point sa parole, il agira selon tout ce qui est sorti de sa bouche.
2. "Raha misy lehilahy mivoady amin' i Jehovah, na mianiana hamehy ny fanahiny, dia tsy hitsoa-teny izy; araka izay rehetra naloaky ny vavany no hataony."
3. If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;
3. (30:4) Lorsqu`une femme, dans sa jeunesse et à la maison de son père, fera un voeu à l`Éternel et se liera par un engagement,
3. Ary raha misy vehivavy mivoady amin' i Jehovah ka mamehy ny tenany, raha mbola zaza ao an-tranon-drainy izy,
4. And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
4. "(30:5) et que son père aura connaissance du voeu qu`elle a fait et de l`engagement par lequel elle s`est liée, -si son père garde le silence envers elle, tout voeu qu`elle aura fait sera valable, et tout engagement par lequel elle se sera liée sera valable;"
4. Ka ren-drainy ny voadiny sy ny namehezany ny fanahiny, nefa tsy niteny azy rainy, dia hitoetra ny voadiny rehetra ary izay rehetra namehezany ny fanahiny dia hitoetra.
5. But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
5. "(30:6) mais si son père la désapprouve le jour où il en a connaissance, tous ses voeux et tous les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée n`auront aucune valeur; et l`Éternel lui pardonnera, parce qu`elle a été désapprouvée de son père."
5. "Fa raha nandrara azy rainy tamin' ny andro nandrenesany, dia tsy misy hitoetra ny voadiny rehetra sy izay namehezany ny fanahiny; ary Jehovah hamela ny helony satria nandrara azy ny rainy."
6. And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
6. (30:7) Lorsqu`elle sera mariée, après avoir fait des voeux, ou s`être liée par une parole échappée de ses lèvres,
6. "Ary raha manambady izy ka nivoady, na namoaka teny tamin' ny vavany izay namehezany ny fanahiny;"
7. And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
7. "(30:8) et que son mari en aura connaissance, -s`il garde le silence envers elle le jour où il en a connaissance, ses voeux seront valables, et les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée seront valables;"
7. "Ka nandre izany ny lahy, nefa tsy niteny azy tamin' ny andro nandrenesany, dia hitoetra ny voadiny; izay famehezana namehezany ny fanahiny dia hitoetra."
8. But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
8. "(30:9) mais si son mari la désapprouve le jour où il en a connaissance, il annulera le voeu qu`elle a fait et la parole échappée de ses lèvres, par laquelle elle s`est liée; et l`Éternel lui pardonnera."
8. "Fa raha nandrara azy ny vadiny tamin' ny andro nandrenesany, dia hahafoana ny voady izay nivoadian-dravehivavy sy izay teny notononin' ny molony ka namehezany ny fanahiny izy; ary Jehovah hamela ny helony."
9. But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
9. (30:10) Le voeu d`une femme veuve ou répudiée, l`engagement quelconque par lequel elle se sera liée, sera valable pour elle.
9. Fa ny amin' ny voadin' ny vehivavy maty vady sy izay efa nisaorana, dia hitoetra izay rehetra namehezany ny fanahiny.
10. And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
10. (30:11) Lorsqu`une femme, dans la maison de son mari, fera des voeux ou se liera par un serment,
10. "Ary raha nivoady tao an-tranon' ny vadiny ravehivavy, na namehy ny fanahiny tamin' ny fianianana;"
11. And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
11. "(30:12) et que son mari en aura connaissance, -s`il garde le silence envers elle et ne la désapprouve pas, tous ses voeux seront valables, et tous les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée seront valables;"
11. "Ka nandre azy ny vadiny, nefa tsy niteny azy na nandrara azy; dia hitoetra ny voadiny rehetra ary izay rehetra namehezany ny fanahiny dia hitoetra."
12. But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
12. "(30:13) mais si son mari les annule le jour où il en a connaissance, tout voeu et tout engagement sortis de ses lèvres n`auront aucune valeur, son mari les a annulés; et l`Éternel lui pardonnera."
12. "Fa raha nahafoana izany kosa ny vadiny tamin' ny andro nandrenesany, dia afaka izay rehetra notononin' ny molony momba ny voadiny ary izay namehezan-dravehivavy ny fanahiny dia tsy hitoetra. Efa nofoanan' ny vadiny ireny; ary Jehovah hamela ny helony."
13. Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
13. (30:14) Son mari peut ratifier et son mari peut annuler tout voeu, tout serment par lequel elle s`engage à mortifier sa personne.
13. Ny voady rehetra sy ny fianianana rehetra amehezany tena hampahory ny fanahiny, dia ny lahy ihany no afaka hampiorina izany, na hanafoana izany.
14. But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
14. "(30:15) S`il garde de jour en jour le silence envers elle, il ratifie ainsi tous les voeux ou tous les engagements par lesquels elle s`est liée; il les ratifie, parce qu`il a gardé le silence envers elle le jour où il en a eu connaissance."
14. "Fa raha tsy niteny azy tamin' ny andavanandro ny lahy, dia miorina ny voadiny rehetra, na izay rehetra namehezany ny tenany; ny lahy no manamafy izany satria tsy niteny azy izy tamin' ny andro nandrenesany izany."
15. But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
15. (30:16) Mais s`il les annule après le jour où il en a eu connaissance, il sera coupable du péché de sa femme.
15. Fa raha manao izay hahafoana izany ny lahy aorian' ny nandrenesany azy, dia hitondra ny heloky ny vavy izy.
16. These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.
16. (30:17) Telles sont les lois que l`Éternel prescrivit à Moïse, entre un mari et sa femme, entre un père et sa fille, lorsqu`elle est dans sa jeunesse et à la maison de son père.
16. Ireo no lalàna izay nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy ny amin' ny lehilahy sy ny vadiny, ny amin' ny ray sy ny zanany vavy, raha mbola zaza ao an-tranon-drainy izy.
