1. There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
2. Il leur répondit: Croyez-vous que ces Galiléens fussent de plus grands pécheurs que tous les autres Galiléens, parce qu`ils ont souffert de la sorte?

3. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
3. Non, je vous le dis. Mais si vous ne vous repentez, vous périrez tous également.
3. "Tsia, hoy Aho aminareo; fa raha tsy mibebaka ianareo, dia ho ringana tahaka azy koa ianareo rehetra."
4. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
4. Ou bien, ces dix-huit personnes sur qui est tombée la tour de Siloé et qu`elle a tuées, croyez-vous qu`elles fussent plus coupables que tous les autres habitants de Jérusalem?

5. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
5. Non, je vous le dis. Mais si vous ne vous repentez, vous périrez tous également.

6. He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
6. Il dit aussi cette parabole: Un homme avait un figuier planté dans sa vigne. Il vint pour y chercher du fruit, et il n`en trouva point.
6. "Ary nanao ity fanoharana ity koa Izy: Nisy olona nanana hazo aviavimbazaha nambolena teo an-tanimboalobony; dia nankeo izy nitady voa taminy, fa tsy nahita."
7. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
7. Alors il dit au vigneron: Voilà trois ans que je viens chercher du fruit à ce figuier, et je n`en trouve point. Coupe-le: pourquoi occupe-t-il la terre inutilement?
7. "Ka dia hoy izy tamin' ny mpamboatra ny tanimboaloboka: Indro, efa telo taona izay aho no tonga nitady voa tamin' ity aviavimbazaha ity, fa tsy nahita; kapao io, nahoana io no manimba ny tany?"
8. And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
8. "Le vigneron lui répondit: Seigneur, laisse-le encore cette année; je creuserai tout autour, et j`y mettrai du fumier."
8. "Fa ny mpamboatra namaly ka nanao taminy hoe: Tompoko, avelao ihany izy amin' ity taona ity mandra-pihadiko manodidina azy, ka hasiako zezika;"
9. And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
9. "Peut-être à l`avenir donnera-t-il du fruit; sinon, tu le couperas."
9. "Fa raha hamoa izy, dia tsara; fa raha tsy izany, dia hokapainao ihany."
10. And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
10. Jésus enseignait dans une des synagogues, le jour du sabbat.
10. Ary nampianatra tao amin' ny anankiray amin' ny synagoga Jesosy tamin' ny sabata.
11. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
11. "Et voici, il y avait là une femme possédée d`un esprit qui la rendait infirme depuis dix-huit ans; elle était courbée, et ne pouvait pas du tout se redresser."
11. Ary, indro, nisy vehivavy izay nanana fanahy mahafarofy valo ambin' ny folo taona, ary nanjoko izy ka tsy nahatraka akory.
12. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
12. Lorsqu`il la vit, Jésus lui adressa la parole, et lui dit: Femme, tu es délivrée de ton infirmité.
12. Ary rehefa nahita azy Jesosy, dia niantso azy ka niteny taminy hoe: Ravehivavy, afaka amin'ny rofinao ianao.
13. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
13. Et il lui imposa les mains. A l`instant elle se redressa, et glorifia Dieu.
13. "Dia nametraka ny tanany taminy Izy; ary niaraka tamin' izay dia nitraka ravehivavy sady nankalaza an' Andriamanitra."
14. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
14. "Mais le chef de la synagogue, indigné de ce que Jésus avait opéré cette guérison un jour de sabbat, dit à la foule: Il y a six jours pour travailler; venez donc vous faire guérir ces jours-là, et non pas le jour du sabbat."
14. "Ary namaly tamim-pahatezerana ny mpanapaka ny synagoga, satria nahasitrana tamin' ny andro sabata Jesosy, ka hoy izy tamin' ny vahoaka: Henemana no azo anaovan-draharaha; koa tongava hositranina amin' izany, fa tsy amin' ny andro sabata."
15. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
15. Hypocrites! lui répondit le Seigneur, est-ce que chacun de vous, le jour du sabbat, ne détache pas de la crèche son boeuf ou son âne, pour le mener boire?
15. Fa namaly azy ny Tompo ka nanao hoe: Ry mpihatsaravelatsihy, moa tsy samy mamaha ny ombiny na ny borikiny hiala amin' ny fihinanam-bilona amin' ny sabata va ianareo ka mitondra azy hisotro rano?
16. And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
16. Et cette femme, qui est une fille d`Abraham, et que Satan tenait liée depuis dix-huit ans, ne fallait-il pas la délivrer de cette chaîne le jour du sabbat?
16. Koa ity vehivavy zanak' i Abrahama ity, izay efa nafatotr' i Satana izao valo ambin' ny folo taona izao, moa tsy tokony hovahana ho afaka amin' izany fatorana izany amin' ny andro sabata va?
17. And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
17. Tandis qu`il parlait ainsi, tous ses adversaires étaient confus, et la foule se réjouissait de toutes les choses glorieuses qu`il faisait.
17. "Ary raha nilaza izany Izy, dia nangaihay ny mpanohitra Azy rehetra; fa ny vahoaka rehetra nifaly noho ny zavatra malaza rehetra nataony."
18. Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
18. Il dit encore: A quoi le royaume de Dieu est-il semblable, et à quoi le comparerai-je?
18. Dia hoy Jesosy: Tahaka ny inona ny fanjakan' Andriamanitra? ary inona no hanoharako azy?
19. It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
19. "Il est semblable à un grain de sénevé qu`un homme a pris et jeté dans son jardin; il pousse, devient un arbre, et les oiseaux du ciel habitent dans ses branches."
19. "Tahaka ny voan-tsinapy izy, izay nalain' olona ka namboleny tao an-tanimboliny, ary naniry ka tonga hazo; ary ny voro-manidina eny amin' ny habakabaka nitoetra tao amin' ny rantsany."
20. And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
20. Il dit encore: A quoi comparerai-je le royaume de Dieu?

21. It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
21. Il est semblable à du levain qu`une femme a pris et mis dans trois mesures de farine, pour faire lever toute la pâte.
21. Tahaka ny lalivay izy, izay nalain' ny vehivavy anankiray ka nataony tao amin' ny koba intelon' ny famarana, mandra-pahazon' ny lalivay azy rehetra.
22. And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
22. Jésus traversait les villes et les villages, enseignant, et faisant route vers Jérusalem.
22. Ary nandeha nitety ny tanàna sy ny vohitra nampianatra Jesosy sady nandroso hankany Jerosalema.
23. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
23. Quelqu`un lui dit: Seigneur, n`y a-t-il que peu de gens qui soient sauvés? Il leur répondit:
23. Dia hoy ny anankiray taminy: Tompoko, moa vitsy va no hovonjena? Ary hoy Izy tamin' ny olona:
24. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
24. Efforcez-vous d`entrer par la porte étroite. Car, je vous le dis, beaucoup chercheront à entrer, et ne le pourront pas.
24. "Miseseha hiditra amin' ny varavarana ety ianareo; fa hoy Aho aminareo: Maro no hitady hiditra, fa tsy ho afaka."
25. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
25. Quand le maître de la maison se sera levé et aura fermé la porte, et que vous, étant dehors, vous commencerez à frapper à la porte, en disant: Seigneur, Seigneur, ouvre-nous! il vous répondra: Je ne sais d`où vous êtes.
25. "Rehefa mitsangana ny tompon-trano ka manidy ny varavarana, ary ianareo mijanona eo alatrano mandondòna ny varavarana ka manao hoe: Tompoko, Tompoko, vohay izahay, dia hamaly Izy ka hanao aminareo hoe: Tsy fantatro na avy taiza na avy taiza ianareo;"
26. Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
26. Alors vous vous mettrez à dire: Nous avons mangé et bu devant toi, et tu as enseigné dans nos rues.
26. Ary amin' izay ianareo dia hanao hoe: Nihinana sy nisotro teo anatrehanao izahay, ary nampianatra teny an-dalambenay Ianao.
27. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
27. "Et il répondra: Je vous le dis, je ne sais d`où vous êtes; retirez-vous de moi, vous tous, ouvriers d`iniquité."

28. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
28. C`est là qu`il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents, quand vous verrez Abraham, Isaac et Jacob, et tous les prophètes, dans le royaume de Dieu, et que vous serez jetés dehors.
28. Any no hisy ny fitomaniana sy ny fikitroha-nify, raha mahita an' i Abrahama sy Isaka sy Jakoba ary ny mpaminany rehetra eo amin' ny fanjakan' Andriamanitra ianareo, fa ny tenanareo kosa dia voaroaka any ivelany.
29. And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
29. "Il en viendra de l`orient et de l`occident, du nord et du midi; et ils se mettront à table dans le royaume de Dieu."
29. Ary ho tonga avy any atsinanana sy avy any andrefana ary avy any avaratra sy avy any atsimo ireny ka hipetraka ao amin' ny fanjakan' Andriamanitra.
30. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
30. Et voici, il y en a des derniers qui seront les premiers, et des premiers qui seront les derniers.
30. Ary, indro, misy ny aoriana ho aloha, ary misy ny aloha ho aoriana.
31. The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
31. Ce même jour, quelques pharisiens vinrent lui dire: Va-t`en, pars d`ici, car Hérode veut te tuer.
31. "Tamin' izany andro izany indrindra dia nisy Fariseo sasany nanao taminy hoe: Mandehana Ianao ka mialà eto; fa te-hamono Anao Heroda."
32. And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
32. Il leur répondit: Allez, et dites à ce renard: Voici, je chasse les démons et je fais des guérisons aujourd`hui et demain, et le troisième jour j`aurai fini.
32. Fa hoy Izy taminy: Mandehana lazao amin' izany amboahaolo izany hoe: Indro, mamoaka devoly sy manasitrana Aho anio sy ampitso ary raha afakampitso dia hotanterahina ny amiko.
33. Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
33. "Mais il faut que je marche aujourd`hui, demain, et le jour suivant; car il ne convient pas qu`un prophète périsse hors de Jérusalem."
33. "Kanefa tsy maintsy mandeha ihany Aho anio sy ampitso sy raha afakampitso; fa ny mpaminany tsy azo vonoina, raha tsy any Jerosalema."
34. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
34. Jérusalem, Jérusalem, qui tues les prophètes et qui lapides ceux qui te sont envoyés, combien de fois ai-je voulu rassembler tes enfants, comme une poule rassemble sa couvée sous ses ailes, et vous ne l`avez pas voulu!
34. Ry Jerosalema, ry Jerosalema, izay mamono ny mpaminany sy mitora-bato izay nirahina any aminao, impiry Aho no te-hanangona ny zanakao tahaka ny fanomban' ny reniakoho ny zanany ao ambanin' ny elany, fa tsy nety ianareo!
35. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
35. "Voici, votre maison vous sera laissée; mais, je vous le dis, vous ne me verrez plus, jusqu`à ce que vous disiez: Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur!"
35. Indro, avela ho lao ny tranonareo! ary lazaiko marina aminareo: Tsy hahita Ahy intsony ianareo mandra-pilazanareo hoe: Isaorana anie Izay avy amin' ny anaran' i Jehovah.
