1. After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

2. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
2. Il leur dit: La moisson est grande, mais il y a peu d`ouvriers. Priez donc le maître de la moisson d`envoyer des ouvriers dans sa moisson.

3. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
3. "Partez; voici, je vous envoie comme des agneaux au milieu des loups."

4. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
4. Ne portez ni bourse, ni sac, ni souliers, et ne saluez personne en chemin.

5. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
5. Dans quelque maison que vous entriez, dites d`abord: Que la paix soit sur cette maison!

6. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
6. "Et s`il se trouve là un enfant de paix, votre paix reposera sur lui; sinon, elle reviendra à vous."

7. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
7. "Demeurez dans cette maison-là, mangeant et buvant ce qu`on vous donnera; car l`ouvrier mérite son salaire. N`allez pas de maison en maison."
7. "Ary mitoera ao amin' izany trano izany, ka mihinàna sy misotroa izay zavatra omeny; fa ny mpiasa mendrika hahazo ny karamany. Aza mifindrafindra trano."
8. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
8. Dans quelque ville que vous entriez, et où l`on vous recevra, mangez ce qui vous sera présenté,
8. Ary izay tanàna iakaranareo, ka mandray anareo ny olona, dia hano izay zavatra aroso eo anoloanareo.
9. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
9. guérissez les malades qui s`y trouveront, et dites-leur: Le royaume de Dieu s`est approché de vous.
9. Ary sitrano izay marary ao, ka lazao amin' ny olona hoe: Efa mby akaiky anareo ny fanjakan' Andriamanitra.
10. But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
10. Mais dans quelque ville que vous entriez, et où l`on ne vous recevra pas, allez dans ses rues, et dites:
10. Fa izay tanàna iakaranareo, ka tsy mandray anareo kosa ny olona, dia mankanesa eo amin' ny lalambe, ka lazao hoe:
11. Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
11. "Nous secouons contre vous la poussière même de votre ville qui s`est attachée à nos pieds; sachez cependant que le royaume de Dieu s`est approché."
11. "Na dia ny vovoky ny tanànanareo aza, izay miraikitra amin' ny tongotray, dia fafanay hiampanga anareo; nefa aoka ho fantatrareo fa efa mby akaiky anareo ny fanjakan' Andriamanitra."
12. But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
12. Je vous dis qu`en ce jour Sodome sera traitée moins rigoureusement que cette ville-là.
12. Fa lazaiko aminareo fa ho moramora kokoa ny ho amin' i Sodoma amin' izany andro izany noho ny ho amin' izany tanàna izany.
13. Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
13. Malheur à toi, Chorazin! malheur à toi, Bethsaïda! car, si les miracles qui ont été faits au milieu de vous avaient été faits dans Tyr et dans Sidon, il y a longtemps qu`elles se seraient repenties, en prenant le sac et la cendre.
13. Loza ho anao, ry Korazina! loza ho anao, ry Betsaida! fa raha mba tany Tyro sy Sidona no natao ny asa lehibe izay natao teo aminareo, dia ho nibebaka ela izy ka nitafy lamba fisaonana sy nipetraka tamin' ny lavenona.
14. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
14. C`est pourquoi, au jour du jugement, Tyr et Sidon seront traitées moins rigoureusement que vous.

15. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

16. He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
16. "Celui qui vous écoute m`écoute, et celui qui vous rejette me rejette; et celui qui me rejette rejette celui qui m`a envoyé."
16. "Izay mihaino anareo dia mihaino Ahy; ary izay manamavo anareo dia manamavo Ahy; ary izay manamavo Ahy dia manamavo izay naniraka Ahy."
17. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
17. Les soixante-dix revinrent avec joie, disant: Seigneur, les démons mêmes nous sont soumis en ton nom.

18. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
18. Jésus leur dit: Je voyais Satan tomber du ciel comme un éclair.

19. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
19. "Voici, je vous ai donné le pouvoir de marcher sur les serpents et les scorpions, et sur toute la puissance de l`ennemi; et rien ne pourra vous nuire."

20. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
20. "Cependant, ne vous réjouissez pas de ce que les esprits vous sont soumis; mais réjouissez-vous de ce que vos noms sont écrits dans les cieux."
20. "Kanefa aza mifaly ianareo, satria manaiky anareo ny fanahy; fa mifalia, satria voasoratra any an-danitra ny anaranareo."
21. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
21. En ce moment même, Jésus tressaillit de joie par le Saint Esprit, et il dit: Je te loue, Père, Seigneur du ciel et de la terre, de ce que tu as caché ces choses aux sages et aux intelligents, et de ce que tu les as révélées aux enfants. Oui, Père, je te loue de ce que tu l`as voulu ainsi.
21. Ary ravoravo tam-panahy Jesosy tamin' izany ora izany ka nanao hoe: Misaotra Anao Aho, Ray ô, Tompon' ny lanitra sy ny tany, fa efa nafeninao tamin' ny hendry sy ny manan-tsaina izany zavatra izany ka nasehonao tamin' ny zaza madinika, eny, Ray, fa izany no sitrakao.
22. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
22. Toutes choses m`ont été données par mon Père, et personne ne connaît qui est le Fils, si ce n`est le Père, ni qui est le Père, si ce n`est le Fils et celui à qui le Fils veut le révéler.
22. "Ny zavatra rehetra dia efa natolotry ny Raiko Ahy; ary tsy misy mahalala ny zanaka afa-tsy ny Ray, ary ny Ray afa-tsy ny Zanaka sy izay tian' ny Zanaka hanehoana Azy."
23. And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
23. Et, se tournant vers les disciples, il leur dit en particulier: Heureux les yeux qui voient ce que vous voyez!

24. For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
24. Car je vous dis que beaucoup de prophètes et de rois ont désiré voir ce que vous voyez, et ne l`ont pas vu, entendre ce que vous entendez, et ne l`ont pas entendu.
24. Fa lazaiko aminareo, fa mpaminany sy mpanjaka maro no naniry hahita izao zavatra hitanareo izao, fa tsy nahita, ary naniry hahare izao zavatra renareo izao, fa tsy nahare.
25. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
25. Un docteur de la loi se leva, et dit à Jésus, pour l`éprouver: Maître, que dois-je faire pour hériter la vie éternelle?
25. Ary, indro, nisy mpahay lalàna anankiray nitsangana ka naka fanahy an' i Jesosy hoe: Mpampianatra ô, inona no hataoko handovako fiainana mandrakizay?
26. He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
26. Jésus lui dit: Qu`est-il écrit dans la loi? Qu`y lis-tu?
26. Ary hoy Izy taminy: Inona no voasoratra ao amin' ny lalàna? Manao ahoana no famakinao azy?
27. And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
27. "Il répondit: Tu aimeras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur, de toute ton âme, de toute ta force, et de toute ta pensée; et ton prochain comme toi-même."
27. "Ary namaly izy ka nanao hoe: Tiava an' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao amin' ny fonao rehetra sy ny fanahinao rehetra sy ny herinao rehetra ary ny sainao rehetra; ary tiava ny namanao tahaka ny tenanao."
28. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
28. "Tu as bien répondu, lui dit Jésus; fais cela, et tu vivras."
28. "Ary hoy Jesosy taminy: Marina ny navalinao; ataovy izany, dia ho velona ianao."
29. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
29. Mais lui, voulant se justifier, dit à Jésus: Et qui est mon prochain?
29. Fa izy te-hanamarina ny tenany ka nanao tamin' i Jesosy hoe: Iza àry no namako?
30. And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
30. Jésus reprit la parole, et dit: Un homme descendait de Jérusalem à Jéricho. Il tomba au milieu des brigands, qui le dépouillèrent, le chargèrent de coups, et s`en allèrent, le laissant à demi mort.
30. Ary namaly Jesosy ka nanao hoe: Nisy lehilahy anankiray nidina avy tany Jerosalema hankany Jeriko ka azon' ny jiolahy, dia nendahany ny lambany, sady noratrainy izy, dia nilaozany rehefa saika maty.
31. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
31. Un sacrificateur, qui par hasard descendait par le même chemin, ayant vu cet homme, passa outre.

32. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34. And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
35. Le lendemain, il tira deux deniers, les donna à l`hôte, et dit: Aie soin de lui, et ce que tu dépenseras de plus, je te le rendrai à mon retour.

36. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37. And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
37. C`est celui qui a exercé la miséricorde envers lui, répondit le docteur de la loi. Et Jésus lui dit: Va, et toi, fais de même.

38. Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
38. Comme Jésus était en chemin avec ses disciples, il entra dans un village, et une femme, nommée Marthe, le reçut dans sa maison.

39. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
39. Elle avait une soeur, nommée Marie, qui, s`étant assise aux pieds du Seigneur, écoutait sa parole.

40. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
40. Marthe, occupée à divers soins domestiques, survint et dit: Seigneur, cela ne te fait-il rien que ma soeur me laisse seule pour servir? Dis-lui donc de m`aider.
40. "Fa sahirana tamin' ny fanompoana be Marta; dia avy izy ka nanao hoe: Tompoko, moa tsy mampaninona anao va ny amelan' ny rahavaviko ahy hanompo irery? koa mba asaovy manampy ahy izy."
41. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
41. Le Seigneur lui répondit: Marthe, Marthe, tu t`inquiètes et tu t`agites pour beaucoup de choses.
41. "Fa namaly Jesosy ka nanao taminy hoe: Marta, Marta, maro ahìna sy maro herehina ianao;"
42. But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
42. Une seule chose est nécessaire. Marie a choisi la bonne part, qui ne lui sera point ôtée.
