Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses
1. And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

2. And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.

3. (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
3. Et l`Éternel l`entendit. Or, Moïse était un homme fort patient, plus qu`aucun homme sur la face de la terre.

4. And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
4. Soudain l`Éternel dit à Moïse, à Aaron et à Marie: Allez, vous trois, à la tente d`assignation. Et ils y allèrent tous les trois.
4. Ary Jehovah dia niteny tampoka tamin' i Mosesy sy Arona ary Miriama hoe: mivoaha ianareo telo ho any amin' ny tranolay fihaonana. Dia nivoaka izy telo.
5. And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
5. L`Éternel descendit dans la colonne de nuée, et il se tint à l`entrée de la tente. Il appela Aaron et Marie, qui s`avancèrent tous les deux.
5. "Ary andri-rahona no nidinan' i Jehovah, ka nitsangana teo am-baravaran' ny tranolay fihaonana Izy; dia niantso an' i Arona sy Miriama Izy, ka nivoaka izy mianadahy."
6. And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
6. Et il dit: Écoutez bien mes paroles! Lorsqu`il y aura parmi vous un prophète, c`est dans une vision que moi, l`Éternel, je me révélerai à lui, c`est dans un songe que je lui parlerai.
6. Dia hoy Izy: Henoy ankehitriny ny teniko: raha misy mpaminany eo aminareo, dia amin' ny fahitana no hataoko hahafantarany Ahy, Izaho Jehovah, ary amin' ny nofy no hitenenako aminy.
7. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
7. Il n`en est pas ainsi de mon serviteur Moïse. Il est fidèle dans toute ma maison.
7. Fa tsy mba toy izany kosa Mosesy mpanompoko, izay mahatoky ao amin' ny tranoko rehetra.
8. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
8. Je lui parle bouche à bouche, je me révèle à lui sans énigmes, et il voit une représentation de l`Éternel. Pourquoi donc n`avez-vous pas craint de parler contre mon serviteur, contre Moïse?

9. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
9. La colère de l`Éternel s`enflamma contre eux. Et il s`en alla.
9. "Dia nirehitra tamin' izy ireo ny fahatezeran' i Jehovah; ka dia niala Izy."
10. And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
10. "La nuée se retira de dessus la tente. Et voici, Marie était frappée d`une lèpre, blanche comme la neige. Aaron se tourna vers Marie; et voici, elle avait la lèpre."
10. "Ary ny rahona niala tamin' ny tranolay fihaonana; ary indro, nanjary boka Miriama ka fotsy tahaka ny orampanala; ary Arona dia nijery an' i Miriama, ka indro fa boka izy."
11. And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
11. Alors Aaron dit à Moïse: De grâce, mon seigneur, ne nous fais pas porter la peine du péché que nous avons commis en insensés, et dont nous nous sommes rendus coupables!
11. Ary hoy Arona tamin' i Mosesy: Indrisy, tompoko, miangavy anao aho, aza atao ho helokay izay nataonay tamin' ny fahadalana sy izay nanotanay.
12. Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.
12. Oh! qu`elle ne soit pas comme l`enfant mort-né, dont la chair est à moitié consumée quand il sort du sein de sa mère!
12. Aoka re izy mba tsy ho toy ny zaza maty tao am-bohoka, izay efa nihintsana ny antsasaky ny nofony, raha vao teraka.
13. And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
13. Moïse cria à l`Éternel, en disant: O Dieu, je te prie, guéris-la!
13. Ary Mosesy dia nitaraina tamin' i Jehovah ka nanao hoe: Andriamanitra ô, mifona aminao aho, sitrano re izy ankehitriny!
14. And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
14. "Et l`Éternel dit à Moïse: Si son père lui avait craché au visage, ne serait-elle pas pendant sept jours un objet de honte? Qu`elle soit enfermée sept jours en dehors du camp; après quoi, elle y sera reçue."
14. Dia hoy Jehovah tamin' i Mosesy: Raha nandrora tamin' ny tavany ny rainy, moa tsy ho menatra hafitoana va izy? Koa atokany any ivelan' ny toby hafitoana izy, ary rehefa afaka izany, dia hampidirina indray izy.
15. And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.
15. "Marie fut enfermée sept jours en dehors du camp; et le peuple ne partit point, jusqu`à ce que Marie y fut rentrée."
15. "Dia natokana tany ivelan' ny toby hafitoana Miriama; ary ny olona tsy niainga, raha tsy efa nampidirina indray Miriama."
16. And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
16. Après cela, le peuple partit de Hatséroth, et il campa dans le désert de Paran.
