Allotment for Ephraim and Manasseh
1. And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,
1. La part échue par le sort aux fils de Joseph s`étendait depuis le Jourdain près de Jéricho, vers les eaux de Jéricho, à l`orient. La limite suivait le désert qui s`élève de Jéricho à Béthel par la montagne.
1. Ary ny faritry ny tany azon' ny taranak' i Josefa tamin' ny an-tsapaka dia hatrany Jordana tandrifin' i Jeriko dia teo amin' ny ranon' i Jeriko atsinanana, ka hatramin' ny efitra izay fiakarana avy any Jeriko mamaky ny tendrombohitra Betela.
2. And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

2. Dia hatrany Betela ka hatrany Lozy, ka mandroso hatramin' ny faritanin' ny Arkita hatrany Atarota,
3. And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
3. Puis elle descendait à l`occident vers la frontière des Japhléthiens jusqu`à celle de Beth Horon la basse et jusqu`à Guézer, pour aboutir à la mer.
3. Dia midina miankandrefana mahazo ny tanin' ny Jafletita ka hatramin' ny faritanin' i Beti-horona ambany sy Gazera ka dia mihatra amin' ny ranomasina.
4. So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
4. C`est là que reçurent leur héritage les fils de Joseph, Manassé et Éphraïm.
4. Dia azon' i Manase sy Efraima taranak' i Josefa ny lovany.
5. And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
5. Voici les limites des fils d`Éphraïm, selon leurs familles. La limite de leur héritage était, à l`orient, Atharoth Addar jusqu`à Beth Horon la haute.
5. "Ary izao no faritanin' ny taranak' i Efraima araka ny fianakaviany; ny faritany atsinanana amin' ny lovany dia hatrany Atarot-adara ka hatrany Beti-horona ambony."
6. And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
6. Elle continuait du côté de l`occident vers Micmethath au nord, tournait à l`orient vers Thaanath Silo, et passait dans la direction de l`orient par Janoach.
6. Ary ny faritany dia nandroso nankamin' ny ranomasina ho any Mikmeta amin' ny ilany avaratra, ary ny faritany dia niolaka niantsinanana hatrany Tanata-silo ka nihoatra eo atsinanany hatrany Janoha.
7. And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
7. De Janoach elle descendait à Atharoth et à Naaratha, touchait à Jéricho, et se prolongeait jusqu`au Jourdain.

8. The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
8. De Tappuach elle allait vers l`occident au torrent de Kana, pour aboutir à la mer. Tel fut l`héritage de la tribu des fils d`Éphraïm, selon leurs familles.
8. Ary hatrany Tapoa dia niankandrefana ny faritany hatramin' ny renirano Kana ka dia nihatra tamin' ny ranomasina. Izany no lovan' ny fokon' ny taranak' i Efraima araka ny fianakaviany,
9. And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
9. Les fils d`Éphraïm avaient aussi des villes séparées au milieu de l`héritage des fils de Manassé, toutes avec leurs villages.
9. Mbamin' ny tanàna natokana ho an' ny taranak' i Efraima teo amin' ny lovan' ny taranak' i Manase koa, dia ny tanàna rehetra mbamin' ny zana-bohiny.
10. And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
10. Ils ne chassèrent point les Cananéens qui habitaient à Guézer, et les Cananéens ont habité au milieu d`Éphraïm jusqu`à ce jour, mais ils furent assujettis à un tribut.
10. "Ary tsy nandroaka ny Kananita izay nonina tany Gazera izy; fa monina eo amin' i Efraima ny Kananita mandraka androany ka manompo amin' ny fandoavan-ketra."
