Setting Up the Tabernacle
1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
2. Le premier jour du premier mois, tu dresseras le tabernacle, la tente d`assignation.
2. Amin' ny andro voalohany amin' ny volana voalohany dia atsangano ny tabernakelin' ny tranolay fihaonana.
3. And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
3. Tu y placeras l`arche du témoignage, et tu couvriras l`arche avec le voile.
3. Ary ataovy ao ny fiaran' ny Vavolombelona, ka takony efitra lamba ny fiara.
4. And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
4. Tu apporteras la table, et tu la disposeras en ordre. Tu apporteras le chandelier, et tu en arrangeras les lampes.
4. "Ary ampidiro ny latabatra ka alaharo izay zavatra alahatra eo amboniny; ary ampidiro ny fanaovanjiro, ka ampireheto ny jiro."
5. And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
5. Tu placeras l`autel d`or pour le parfum devant l`arche du témoignage, et tu mettras le rideau à l`entrée du tabernacle.
5. Ary ny alitara volamena ho an' ny ditin-kazo manitra dia ataovy eo anoloan' ny fiaran' ny Vavolombelona, ary ny varavarana lamba dia ataovy eo amin' ny tabernakely.
6. And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
6. Tu placeras l`autel des holocaustes devant l`entrée du tabernacle, de la tente d`assignation.
6. Ary ny alitaran' ny fanatitra dorana dia apetraho eo anoloan' ny varavaran' ny tabernakelin' ny tranolay fihaonana.
7. And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
7. Tu placeras la cuve entre la tente d`assignation et l`autel, et tu y mettras de l`eau.
7. Ary ny tavy fanasana dia apetraho eo anelanelan' ny tranolay fihaonana sy ny alitara, ka asio rano ao anatiny.
8. And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
8. Tu placeras le parvis à l`entour, et tu mettras le rideau à la porte du parvis.
8. Ary amboary ny kianja manodidina, ka ahantòny ny vavahady lamba eo amin' ny vavahadin' ny kianja.
9. And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
9. "Tu prendras l`huile d`onction, tu en oindras le tabernacle et tout ce qu`il renferme, et tu le sanctifieras, avec tous ses ustensiles; et il sera saint."
9. Ary alao ny diloilo fanosorana, ka hosory ny tabernakely sy izay rehetra ao, dia hamasino izany mbamin' ny fanaka rehetra momba azy, ka dia ho masina izany.
10. And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
10. "Tu oindras l`autel des holocaustes et tous ses ustensiles, et tu sanctifieras l`autel; et l`autel sera très saint."
10. "Ary hosory ny alitaran' ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanaka rehetra momba azy; ary hamasino ny alitara, dia ho alitara masina indrindra izany."
11. And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.
11. Tu oindras la cuve avec sa base, et tu la sanctifieras.
11. Ary hosory ny tavy fanasana sy ny tongony ka hamasino izany.
12. And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
12. Tu feras avancer Aaron et ses fils vers l`entrée de la tente d`assignation, et tu les laveras avec de l`eau.
12. Ary ento Arona mbamin' ny zanany lahy hankeo amin' ny varavaran' ny tranolay fihaonana, ka sasao amin' ny rano izy ireo.
13. And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
13. Tu revêtiras Aaron des vêtements sacrés, tu l`oindras, et tu le sanctifieras, pour qu`il soit à mon service dans le sacerdoce.
13. Ary ampiankanjoy an' i Arona ny fitafiana masina ka hosory izy, ary hamasino izy mba hahazoany manao fanompoana ho ahy amin' ny raharahan' ny mpisorona.
14. And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
14. Tu feras approcher ses fils, tu les revêtiras des tuniques,
14. Ary ento ny zanany lahy ka ampiakanjoy azy ireo ny akanjo lava.
15. And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
15. et tu les oindras comme tu auras oint leur père, pour qu`ils soient à mon service dans le sacerdoce. Cette onction leur assurera à perpétuité le sacerdoce parmi leurs descendants.
15. "Ary hosory izy ireo tahaka ny nanosoranao ny rainy, mba hahazoany manao fanompoana ho Ahy amin' ny raharahan' ny mpisorona; fa ny fanosorana azy dia ho fisoronana mandrakizay tokoa hatramin' ny taranany mifandimby."
16. Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
16. "Moïse fit tout ce que l`Éternel lui avait ordonné; il fit ainsi."
16. Dia nataon' i Mosesy izany: araka izay rehetra efa nandidian' i Jehovah azy no nataony.
17. And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
17. Le premier jour du premier mois de la seconde année, le tabernacle fut dressé.
17. Ary izao no niseho, tamin' ny volana voalohany tamin' ny taona faharoa, tamin' ny andro voalohany amin' ny volana no nananganana ny tabernakely.
18. And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
18. "Moïse dressa le tabernacle; il en posa les bases, plaça les planches et les barres, et éleva les colonnes."
18. Ary Mosesy nanangana ny tabernakely ka namehy ny faladiany sy nanangana ny hazofisany ary nametraka ny barany sy nanangana ny andriny.
19. And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
19. Il étendit la tente sur le tabernacle, et il mit la couverture de la tente par-dessus, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse.
19. Ary namelatra ny lay teo ambonin' ny tabernakely izy, ary ny firakotry ny lay nataony teo amboniny, dia araka izay efa nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
20. And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
20. "Il prit le témoignage, et le plaça dans l`arche; il mit les barres à l`arche, et il posa le propitiatoire au-dessus de l`arche."
20. Dia nalainy ny Vavolombelona ka napetrany tao anatin' ny fiara, ary ny bao dia nataony teo amin' ny fiara, ary ny rakotra fanaovam-panavotana dia napetrany teo ambonin' ny fiara.
21. And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
21. "Il apporta l`arche dans le tabernacle; il mit le voile de séparation, et il en couvrit l`arche du témoignage, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse."
21. Ary nentiny ho ao anatin' ny tabernakely ny fiara, ary napetrany ny efitra lamba fanakonana ka notakonany ny fiaran' ny Vavolombelona, araka izay nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
22. And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
22. "Il plaça la table dans la tente d`assignation, au côté septentrional du tabernacle, en dehors du voile;"
22. Ary napetrany tao amin' ny tranolay fihaonana ny latabatra, teo amin' ny lafin' ny tabernakely mianavaratra, teo ivelan' ny efitra lamba.
23. And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
23. et il y déposa en ordre les pains, devant l`Éternel, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse.
23. Ary nandahatra ny mofo teo ambonin' izany, teo anatrehan' i Jehovah izy, araka izay efa nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
24. And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
24. "Il plaça le chandelier dans la tente d`assignation, en face de la table, au côté méridional du tabernacle;"
24. Ary ny fanaovanjiro dia napetrany tao amin' ny tranolay fihaonana, tandrifin' ny latabatra, teo amin' ny lafin' ny tabernakely mianatsimo.
25. And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
25. et il en arrangea les lampes, devant l`Éternel, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse.
25. Ary nampirehitra ny jiro teo anatrehan' i Jehovah izy, araka izay nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
26. And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:
26. "Il plaça l`autel d`or dans la tente d`assignation, devant le voile;"
26. Ary ny alitara volamena dia nataony teo amin' ny tranolay fihaonana, teo anoloan' ny efitra lamba.
27. And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.
27. et il y fit brûler le parfum odoriférant, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse.
27. Ary nandoro ditin-kazo mani-pofona teo izy, dia araka izay efa nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
28. And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
28. Il plaça le rideau à l`entrée du tabernacle.
28. "Ary ny varavarana lamba dia nataony teo amin' ny varavaran' ny tabernakely;"
29. And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
29. "Il plaça l`autel des holocaustes à l`entrée du tabernacle, de la tente d`assignation; et il y offrit l`holocauste et l`offrande, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse."
29. Ary ny alitaran' ny fanatitra dorana dia napetrany teo akaikin' ny varavaran' ny tabernakelin' ny tranolay fihaonana, ary nateriny teo amboniny ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanatitra hohanina, araka ny nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
30. And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
30. "Il plaça la cuve entre la tente d`assignation et l`autel, et il y mit de l`eau pour les ablutions;"
30. Ary ny tavy fanasana dia nataony teo anelanelan' ny tranolay fihaonana sy ny alitara, ka nasiany rano tao anatiny mba hisasana.
31. And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
31. "Moïse, Aaron et ses fils, s`y lavèrent les mains et les pieds;"
31. "Ary teo no nanasan' i Mosesy sy Arona ary ireo zanany lahy ny tanany sy ny tongony;"
32. When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
32. lorsqu`ils entrèrent dans la tente d`assignation et qu`ils s`approchèrent de l`autel, ils se lavèrent, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse.
32. Rehefa niditra tao amin' ny tranolay fihaonana izy ireo, sy rehefa nanakaiky ny alitara, dia nisasa izy ireo, araka ny nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
33. And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
33. Il dressa le parvis autour du tabernacle et de l`autel, et il mit le rideau à la porte du parvis. Ce fut ainsi que Moïse acheva l`ouvrage.
33. Ary natsangany ny kianja manodidina ny tabernakely sy ny alitara, ary natsangany ny vavahady lamba teo amin' ny vavahadin' ny kianja. Dia vitan' i Mosesy ny asa.
The Glory of the LORD
34. Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
34. Alors la nuée couvrit la tente d`assignation, et la gloire de l`Éternel remplit le tabernacle.
34. Ary ny rahona nanarona ny tranolay fihaonana, ary ny voninahitr' i Jehovah nameno ny tabernakely.
35. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35. Moïse ne pouvait pas entrer dans la tente d`assignation, parce que la nuée restait dessus, et que la gloire de l`Éternel remplissait le tabernacle.
35. Ary tsy afaka niditra tao amin' ny tranolay fihaonana Mosesy, satria ny rahona nitoetra teo amboniny, ary ny voninahitr' i Jehovah nameno ny tabernakely.
36. And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
36. Aussi longtemps que durèrent leurs marches, les enfants d`Israël partaient, quand la nuée s`élevait de dessus le tabernacle.
36. Ary rehefa nakarina niala tamin' ny tabernakely ny rahona, dia nandeha nandroso tamin' ny diany rehetra ny Zanak' Isiraely.
37. But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
37. Et quand la nuée ne s`élevait pas, ils ne partaient pas, jusqu`à ce qu`elle s`élevât.
37. Fa raha tsy nakarina kosa ny rahona, dia tsy nandeha izy ireo mandra-piavin' ny andro izay nampakarana izany.
38. For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
38. "La nuée de l`Éternel était de jour sur le tabernacle; et de nuit, il y avait un feu, aux yeux de toute la maison d`Israël, pendant toutes leurs marches."
38. Fa ny rahon' i Jehovah dia teo ambonin' ny tabernakely nony andro, ary afo no teo aminy nony alina, teo imason' ny taranak' Isiraely rehetra, nandritra ny diany rehetra.
