Firstfruits and Tithes
1. And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
1. Lorsque tu seras entré dans le pays que l`Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour héritage, lorsque tu le posséderas et y seras établi,
1. "Ary izao no hisy, rehefa tonga ao amin' ny tany izay omen' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ho lovanao ianao ka hanana izany sady honina ao;"
2. That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.
2. tu prendras des prémices de tous les fruits que tu retireras du sol dans le pays que l`Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne, tu les mettras dans une corbeille, et tu iras au lieu que choisira l`Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y faire résider son nom.
2. "Dia analao ny voaloham-bokatra rehetra amin' ny tany, izay alainao avy amin' ny taninao, izay omen' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao, ka ataovy an-karona; ary mankanesa ho any amin' ny toerana izay hofidin' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao hampitoerana ny anarany."
3. And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
3. Tu te présenteras au sacrificateur alors en fonctions, et tu lui diras: Je déclare aujourd`hui à l`Éternel, ton Dieu, que je suis entré dans le pays que l`Éternel a juré à nos pères de nous donner.
3. Dia mankanesa amin' ny mpisorona amin' izany andro izany, ka lazao aminy hoe: Manambara amin' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao aho anio fa tonga eto amin' ny tany izay nianianan' i Jehovah tamin' ny razan-tsika homeny antsika.
4. And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
4. Le sacrificateur recevra la corbeille de ta main, et la déposera devant l`autel de l`Éternel, ton Dieu.
4. Dia horaisin' ny mpisorona eny an-tananao ny harona ka hapetrany eo anoloan' ny alitaran' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao.
5. And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
5. "Tu prendras encore la parole, et tu diras devant l`Éternel, ton Dieu: Mon père était un Araméen nomade; il descendit en Égypte avec peu de gens, et il y fixa son séjour; là, il devint une nation grande, puissante et nombreuse."
5. Dia hiteny eo anatrehan' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao ka hanao hoe: Syriana efa saiky maty ny raiko, ka nidina tany Egypta izy, dia nivahiny tany mbamin' ny olom-bitsy, ary tany izy no tonga firenena lehibe sy mahery sady maro an' isa.
6. And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
6. Les Égyptiens nous maltraitèrent et nous opprimèrent, et ils nous soumirent à une dure servitude.
6. Ary nanao ratsy tamintsika ny Egyptiana ka nampahory antsika sy nampanao antsika fanompoana mafy.
7. And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
7. Nous criâmes à l`Éternel, le Dieu de nos pères. L`Éternel entendit notre voix, et il vit notre oppression, nos peines et nos misères.
7. "Ary rehefa nitaraina tamin' i Jehovah Andriamanitry ny razantsika isika, dia nihaino ny feontsika Jehovah ka nijery ny alahelontsika sy ny asantsika ary ny fahoriantsika;"
8. And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
8. Et l`Éternel nous fit sortir d`Égypte, à main forte et à bras étendu, avec des prodiges de terreur, avec des signes et des miracles.
8. Ary tanana mahery sy sandry nahinjitra sy fampahatahorana lehibe sy famantarana ary fahagagana no nitondran' i Jehovah antsika nivoaka avy tany Egypta,
9. And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.
9. Il nous a conduits dans ce lieu, et il nous a donné ce pays, pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
9. Dia nitondra antsika niditra teto amin' ity toerana ity Izy ka nanome antsika ity tany ity, dia tany tondra-dronono sy tantely.
10. And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
10. Maintenant voici, j`apporte les prémices des fruits du sol que tu m`as donné, ô Éternel! Tu les déposeras devant l`Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu te prosterneras devant l`Éternel, ton Dieu.
10. Ary ankehitriny, indro, efa nentiko ny voaloham-bokatra amin' ny tany izay nomenao ahy, Jehovah ô. Dia avelao eo anatrehan' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao izany ka miankohofa eo anatrehan' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao.
11. And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
11. Puis tu te réjouiras, avec le Lévite et avec l`étranger qui sera au milieu de toi, pour tous les biens que l`Éternel, ton Dieu, t`a donnés, à toi et à ta maison.
11. Ary mifalia amin' ny soa rehetra izay nomen' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao sy ny ankohonanao, dia ianao sy ny Levita mbamin' ny vahiny eo aminao.
12. When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
12. "Lorsque tu auras achevé de lever toute la dîme de tes produits, la troisième année, l`année de la dîme, tu la donneras au Lévite, à l`étranger, à l`orphelin et à la veuve; et ils mangeront et se rassasieront, dans tes portes."
12. "Rehefa voangonao ny ampahafolony rehetra avy amin' ny vokatrao amin' ny taona fahatelo, izay taona fanangonana ny ampahafolony ka nomenao ny Levita sy ny vahiny sy ny kamboty ary ny mpitondratena izany, mba hohaniny eo am-bavahadinao ka ho voky izy;"
13. Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:
13. "Tu diras devant l`Éternel, ton Dieu: J`ai ôté de ma maison ce qui est consacré, et je l`ai donné au Lévite, à l`étranger, à l`orphelin et à la veuve, selon tous les ordres que tu m`as prescrits; je n`ai transgressé ni oublié aucun de tes commandements."
13. "Dia lazao eo anatrehan' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao hoe: Efa navoakako avokoa ny zava-masina tao an-tranoko ary koa nomeko ny Levita sy ny vahiny sy ny kamboty ary ny mpitondratena, araka ny didinao rehetra izay nandidianao ahy; tsy nandika ny didinao aho na nanadino izany."
14. I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
14. "Je n`ai rien mangé de ces choses pendant mon deuil, je n`en ai rien fait disparaître pour un usage impur, et je n`en ai rien donné à l`occasion d`un mort; j`ai obéi à la voix de l`Éternel, mon Dieu, j`ai agi selon tous les ordres que tu m`as prescrits."
14. "Tsy nisy nohaniko teo amin' ny fisaonako izany, na nentiko nivoaka teo amin' ny fahalotoako, na nataoko fahan-kanina noho ny maty; fa efa nihaino ny feon' i Jehovah Andriamanitro aho ka nanao araka izay rehetra nandidianao ahy."
15. Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
15. Regarde de ta demeure sainte, des cieux, et bénis ton peuple d`Israël et le pays que tu nous as donné, comme tu l`avais juré à nos pères, ce pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
15. Tsinjovy ao amin' ny fonenanao masina avy any an-danitra, ka tahio ny Isiraely olonao sy ny tany izay nomenao anay araka izay nianiananao tamin' ny razanay, dia tany tondra-dronono sy tantely.
Follow the LORD's Commands
16. This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
16. "Aujourd`hui, l`Éternel, ton Dieu, te commande de mettre en pratique ces lois et ces ordonnances; tu les observeras et tu les mettras en pratique de tout ton coeur et de toute ton âme."
16. "Anio no andidian' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao hanaraka ireo didy sy fitsipika ireo; koa tandremo sy araho amin' ny fonao rehetra sy ny fanahinao rehetra ireo."
17. Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
17. Aujourd`hui, tu as fait promettre à l`Éternel qu`il sera ton Dieu, afin que tu marches dans ses voies, que tu observes ses lois, ses commandements et ses ordonnances, et que tu obéisses à sa voix.
17. "Efa nampiteny an' i Jehovah ianao androany fa ho Andriamanitrao Izy, ka handeha amin' ny lalany sy ny hitandrina ny lalàny sy ny didiny ary ny fitsipiny ianao ary hihaino ny feony;"
18. And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
18. Et aujourd`hui, l`Éternel t`a fait promettre que tu seras un peuple qui lui appartiendra, comme il te l`a dit, et que tu observeras tous ses commandements,
18. "Ary Jehovah kosa efa nampiteny anao androany fa firenena manokana ho azy ianao, araka izay nampanantenainy anao, mba hitandremanao ny didiny rehetra;"
19. And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
19. afin qu`il te donne sur toutes les nations qu`il a créées la supériorité en gloire, en renom et en magnificence, et afin que tu sois un peuple saint pour l`Éternel, ton Dieu, comme il te l`a dit.
19. "Sy hanandratany anao ho ambonin' ny firenena rehetra izay nataony, ho fiderana sy ho anarana ary ho voninahitra; ary mba ho firenena masina ho an' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao, araka izay nolazainy."
