The End Times
1. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
1. "En ce temps-là se lèvera Micaël, le grand chef, le défenseur des enfants de ton peuple; et ce sera une époque de détresse, telle qu`il n`y en a point eu de semblable depuis que les nations existent jusqu`à cette époque. En ce temps-là, ceux de ton peuple qui seront trouvés inscrits dans le livre seront sauvés."
1. "Ary amin' izany fotoana izany dia hitsangana Mikaela, andrian-dehibe, izay mitsangana hiaro ny zanaky ny firenenao; ary hisy andro fahoriana, izay tsy nisy tahaka azy hatrizay nisian' ny firenena ka hatramin' izany andro izany; ary amin' izany dia ho afaka ny firenenao, dia izay rehetra hita voasoratra ao amin' ny boky."
2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
2. Plusieurs de ceux qui dorment dans la poussière de la terre se réveilleront, les uns pour la vie éternelle, et les autres pour l`opprobre, pour la honte éternelle.
2. Ary maro amin' izay matory ao amin' ny vovoky ny tany no hifoha: ny sasany ho amin' ny fiainana mandrakizay, ary ny sasany ho amin' ny henatra sy ny latsa mandrakizay.
3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
3. Ceux qui auront été intelligents brilleront comme la splendeur du ciel, et ceux qui auront enseigné la justice, à la multitude brilleront comme les étoiles, à toujours et à perpétuité.
3. "Ary izay hendry dia hamirapiratra toy ny famirapiratry ny lanitra; ary izay mamerina ny maro ho amin' ny fahamarinana dia ho tahaka ny kintana mandrakizay doria."
4. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
4. Toi, Daniel, tiens secrètes ces paroles, et scelle le livre jusqu`au temps de la fin. Plusieurs alors le liront, et la connaissance augmentera.
4. "Fa ianao, ry Daniela, dia ahoroninao ny teny, ka asio tombo-kase ny boky, mandra-piavin' ny fotoana farany; maro no hazoto hivezivezy ka hitombo ny fahalalana."
5. Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
5. Et moi, Daniel, je regardai, et voici, deux autres hommes se tenaient debout, l`un en deçà du bord du fleuve, et l`autre au delà du bord du fleuve.
5. Dia nijery izaho Daniela, ka, indro, nisy roa hafa koa nitsangana, ny anankiray teto amoron' ny ony, ary ny anankiray kosa teroa an-dafiny.
6. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
6. L`un d`eux dit à l`homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve: Quand sera la fin de ces prodiges?
6. Ary hoy ny anankiray tamin' ilay lehilahy mitafy rongony fotsy, izay teo ambonin' ny rano amin' ny ony: Mandra-pahoviana vao ho tanteraka ny faran' ireo fahagagana ireo?
7. And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
7. "Et j`entendis l`homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve; il leva vers les cieux sa main droite et sa main gauche, et il jura par celui qui vit éternellement que ce sera dans un temps, des temps, et la moitié d`un temps, et que toutes ces choses finiront quand la force du peuple saint sera entièrement brisée."
7. "Ary izaho nandre ilay lehilahy mitafy rongony fotsy izay teo ambonin' ny rano amin' ny ony, raha nanandratra ny tanany ankavanana sy ny tanany ankavia ho amin' ny lanitra ka nianiana tamin' Izay velona mandrakizay fa ho fe-potoana iray sy fe-potoana maro ary antsasaky ny fe-potoana; ary rehefa vitany ny fanamontsamontsanana ny herin' ny olo-masina, dia ho tanteraka ireo rehetra ireo."
8. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
8. "J`entendis, mais je ne compris pas; et je dis: Mon seigneur, quelle sera l`issue de ces choses?"
8. "Ary nandre izany aho, nefa tsy nahafantatra; dia hoy aho: Tompoko ô, hanao ahoana no hiafaran' ireo zavatra ireo?"
9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
9. Il répondit: Va, Daniel, car ces paroles seront tenues secrètes et scellées jusqu`au temps de la fin.
9. Dia hoy izy: Andeha, ry Daniela, fa efa voahorona ny teny sady voaisy tombo-kase mandra-piavin' ny fotoana farany.
10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
10. "Plusieurs seront purifiés, blanchis et épurés; les méchants feront le mal et aucun des méchants ne comprendra, mais ceux qui auront de l`intelligence comprendront."
10. "Maro no hodiovina sy hofotsiana ary hozahan-toetra; fa ny ratsy fanahy kosa mbola hanao ratsy ihany, ary tsy hisy amin' ny ratsy fanahy hahafantatra, fa ny hendry no hahafantatra."
11. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
11. Depuis le temps où cessera le sacrifice perpétuel, et où sera dressée l`abomination du dévastateur, il y aura mille deux cent quatre-vingt-dix jours.
11. Ary hatramin' ny andro hampitsaharana ny fanatitra isan' andro sy hampidirana ny fahavetavetana mahatonga fandravana dia hisy andro sivifolo sy roanjato amby arivo.
12. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
12. Heureux celui qui attendra, et qui arrivera jusqu`au mille trois cent trente-cinq jours!
12. Sambatra izay miandry sy mahatratra ny andro dimy amby telopolo amby telonjato sy arivo.
13. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
13. "Et toi, marche vers ta fin; tu te reposeras, et tu seras debout pour ton héritage à la fin des jours."
13. "Fa mandehana ianao mandra-piavin' ny farany; fa hitsahatra ianao ka hitsangana ho ao amin' ny anjaranao amin' ny andro farany."
